Be Active

We want everyone to be able to experience God’s purpose and calling in their lives.

Our Welcoming Team is here to help integrate you into the life of our church as you feel ready! Whether you would like to grow in your faith by learning more about Christ and being in community with others at Messiah, to serve, or are in need of being served and receiving support, our Welcoming Team would love to guide you. A representative of our team is available every Sunday morning at our Welcome Center between services. (The Welcome Center is located in the narthex, which is the room outside of the sanctuary where you enter the building.) Or contact Lauren Geraghty, Pastor of Welcoming, by phone (703-304-7062) or email

Our journey in life can be chaotic and complicated, but our faith journey doesn’t have to be. Out of our chaos, God brings order, peace, and beauty. God takes our ordinary life and transforms us into extraordinary disciples for Christ. Our faith journey doesn’t have to be complicated when we take time to focus on what is important – loving God and others, serving the world, and sharing with one another.
