The Men of Messiah know how to have fun! We come together for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, retreats, and lots of good times.
We have many small group opportunities for growing together in Christ:
- Tuesday morning at 8:30 am our Christ’s Curmudgeon’s small group, mostly comprised of retirees, meets to share our faith, discuss what we heard in Sunday’s sermon, and enjoy one another’s company.
- Another sharing and prayer group meets at the church each Saturday at 6:30 am.
- A United Methodist Men’s Bible study meets at the Church at 7:30 pm every Monday (except holidays) and currently is reading through the Bible.
Both the Tuesday and Saturday morning groups participate in an accountability group that meets each Saturday at 7:45 am except for the second Saturday of every month when the United Methodist Men’s breakfast meets at 8:00 am. We have wonderful speakers, great food and fun fellowship.
Messiah United Methodist Men participate in the Washington Area Coalition of Men’s Ministry (WACMM) events and UMM district rallies. You are welcome and invited to participate in any of the opportunities to learn more about God’s love. We encourage everyone to be part of a small group. It’s a wonderful way to grow closer to God, grow closer to others, and learn more about yourself! For further information about any of the groups, contact our Director of Discipling Ministries, Robin Ringler, or call 703-569-9862, ext. 114.
