Have You Considered a Year-End Gift to the Messiah United Methodist Church Endowment Fund?

Did you know that giving to the Messiah United Methodist Church Endowment Fund is a wonderful way to help secure the future of our church? All donations are invested in diversified funds and only the income and net appreciation of donations may be expended to benefit the work of Messiah. Many donations to the Endowment Fund are made in honor or memory of a loved one.

There are several ways to give including:

(1)  Donate by check noting “Endowment Fund” on the memo line of your check, envelope, or online. Note: if donating online, go to the tab at the top of the Messiah home page, entitled “Giving at Messiah,” then click on “Realm Giving.” After entering the amount, click on the drop-down menu for “Fund.” Scroll down, then click “Other.” In the memo line that will appear, enter “Endowment Fund.” After that, simply follow the rest of the prompts.

(2) Donate appreciated assets such as stocks, bonds, or real estate. You may be able to avoid tax on any capital gain while receiving a charitable income tax deduction.

(3) Designate the Endowment Fund as the beneficiary in a will or trust to The Messiah United Methodist Church Endowment Fund. Your gift will benefit future generations.
