At Messiah, we believe all children have an important role to play in the Kingdom.

We want to give each child meaningful, age-appropriate experiences that will help them deepen their relationship with God.

Are you new to Messiah?

Is this your first time? Upon entering our front lobby, look for our Welcome Desk. You may want to leave yourself an extra 5 minutes to find your child’s classroom.

Don’t worry- we’ll escort you and your child to the appropriate classroom. We’re excited to meet you!

Our nursery is open Sunday mornings for children birth-24 months from 8:15 am-12:15 pm. Our professional nursery staff are CPR and First Aid Trained, and all have undergone thorough background checks. We believe that the Nursery is a sacred space where children should feel surrounded by the love of Christian Community. Therefore, our nursery staff teaches the love of Jesus through songs and stories in age appropriate ways.

We invite preschoolers to share in the beginning of worship with the whole Messiah Community. Immediately following the Children’s Message, PreK3-K children are invited to participate in a Children’s Worship Service. Children will return to the sanctuary at the conclusion of the service, or before Communion is served on Communion Sundays.

Elementary classes are for K through 6th grade. We are currently offering Sunday School every Sunday at 10 am. Children will participate in a rotational sunday school where they will participate in crafts, music and Bible Stories.

If you’re new in town or simply looking to connect with other parents this summer, join us at the Messiah playground on Tuesdays!
Maybe you have new neighbors that would love to meet more people!

Most Tuesdays, we will be there from 10 am to 11 am!

Kristyl is originally from Miami, Florida, and grew up attending a conservative Christian school where she spent years memorizing Bible verses, studying theology, and praying God wouldn’t call her to be a missionary.

In college, she fell in love with linguistics, earned a Ph.D., and began her career as a professor; then, her pastor suggested that God was calling her to be a Children’s Minister, and the rest is history!

She is married to her high-school pen-pal, and they have three children—whom she homeschools.
