What to Expect at Messiah

  • What is Messiah's worship style?

Each worship service is usually less than one hour. We incorporate both traditional and non-traditional worship elements.

Communion is offered every Sunday and all are invited to partake.

After service, we invite everyone to stay and enjoy fellowship time together in the Narthex.

At 10 AM, there is also a worship service in Spanish. Communion is served every week at the Spanish-speaking service.

There is Adult Sunday School at 9 am.

Livestream worship begins at 10 am.

  • What should I wear?

Wear what you feel comfortable wearing. We will be happy to see you!

  • Children at Messiah

We hope families will attend our worship services together. Elementary aged children are invited to join Children's Church after the Children's Message each week.

For our babies, our nursery is open Sunday mornings for children birth-24 months from 8:45 am-11:15 am. Our professional nursery staff are CPR and First Aid Trained, and all have undergone thorough background checks. We believe that the Nursery is a sacred space where children should feel surrounded by the love of Christian Community. Therefore, our nursery staff teaches the love of Jesus through songs and stories in age appropriate ways.

  • Where should I park?

Our parking lot can be accessed from our main entrance off Rolling Road. If the lot is completely full there is overflow parking at The Traford Office Complex in Springfield (8340 Traford Lane, Springfield, VA 22152) and there is an open gate and path through which you can access the church.
